Brian Allfrey / Player Development & Team Coach
Coach Allfrey grew up in West Jordan, where he attended West Jordan High School and played Varsity Basketball for three years. After high school he received a basketball scholarship to Snow College in Ephraim, UT. After finishing his career at Snow, Coach Allfrey started coaching at West Jordan Middle School. Coach Allfrey is currently the Executive Director of the Utah Press Association and enjoys a successful career in advertising.
Coach Allfrey has been married for 15 years to his wife Kim. They have 3 kids (2 sons and a daughter), Trevon (14), Jackson (12) and Taylor (10). He started his coaching career at West Jordan Middle School before moving on to West Jordan High School. In total, he spent 12 years coaching in the West Jordan program, including 2 State Championships games (2005 and 2009). He was a coach on the 2009 West Jordan State Championship team, while his son Trevon was a ball boy for that team.
Coach Allfrey started coaching at Copper Hills as the Head Sophomore Coach, Assistant Varsity Coach and Youth Basketball Director in 2013. He also runs the Salt Lake Bantam League.
Brian serves on the Utah Basketball Club Board of Directors and currently coaches the 17U Black team as well as the 15U Blue Team. He is dedicated to helping young men become better basketball players and to help them fulfill their dreams of playing college basketball.
