Jared Casper / Skill Development Coach
Coach Jared Casper joined the Utah Basketball Club staff in 2011 and currently is the legal counsel for the club as well as a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to joining the Utah Basketball Club staff, Coach Casper was most recently the Head Varsity Coach at Crater High School in Central Point, Oregon for the 2009-2010 season. In 2009, Coach Casper also coached the Oregon Rebels 17U team, an AAU team comprised of players from the Southern Oregon and Northern California areas. Before coaching in Oregon, Coach Casper was the Varsity Assistant Coach and Head JV Coach for Coach Craig Drury at Provo High School from 2002-2008 where he was charged with developing the wings and guards for the program. During Coach Casper’s time at Provo High School the teams he coached won the Utah 4A State Championships in 2004, 2007 and 2008, with a 2nd place finish in 2006. For a number of years Coach Casper has worked at basketball camps where he has placed an emphasis on skill development.
Coach Casper holds a B.A. in finance from the University of Utah and a J.D. from The Gonzaga University School of Law.
